Read the instructions carefully and completely fill out the form. You will be required to upload your resume and one professional letter of reference. Application Deadline Certified Public-Safety Executive (CPE) Program 11:59:PM (Eastern Time) February 15, 2024 Registered Public-Safety Leaders (RPL) Program 11:59:PM (Eastern Time) March 1, 2024 General Scholarships 11:59:PM (Eastern Time) April 1, 2024 PLEASE NOTE that applications close at 11:59:PM (Eastern Time) February 15, 2024. Please have your application submitted by then. Current server date/time: May 11, 2024 8:01 AM Before applying for a scholarship for the CPE Program, please ensure that you meet the qualifications to apply for the CPE Program itself, and that you are able to make the necessary commitment to successfully complete the program. There is a separate application process for the CPE Program. Receiving a CPE scholarship does not guarantee acceptance into the program. Please note that scholarship awards may not be used for the CPE Program deposit. This application form is for CPE scholarships only . ELIGIBILITY A CPE applicant must meet one of the following requirements: Be a graduate of APCO's Registered Public-Safety Leader (RPL) Program AND have a minimum of 6 years' experience in public safety communications at the supervisor, manager or director level. OR Possess an associate's degree or higher THE COMMITMENT The CPE Program is a rigorous, demanding endeavor that requires significant commitment by each participant. Students should be prepared to devote a considerable amount of time to coursework, including individual and group assignments and discussions. In addition to the time required to complete the two CPE online courses, the program includes a mandatory, live, ten-day capstone seminar at APCO headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida.
